I can pause without earning it.
Rest is not a reward for finishing everything. It is part of being human and deeply loved.
SELAHE← Back to the SanctuarySANCTUARY PATH 03
You have carried so much for so long that even rest can feel unfamiliar. You do not have to be strong in this space. Come gently. Nothing is required of you here.
Let yourself be heldHealing does not have to be hurried.
BEFORE YOU GO FURTHER
Maybe you are tired from grief, responsibility, disappointment, or simply surviving one difficult day after another. God is not measuring how well you are holding everything together. Let your honest weariness become the prayer. You are allowed to need comfort too.
God, I have been strong for longer than I know how to explain.
I bring You the tiredness beneath my smile, the grief I keep postponing, and the weight I carry because I do not want to disappoint anyone.
Please meet me without asking me to perform. Hold the parts of me that feel fragile. Restore what has been emptied by worry, responsibility, loss, and waiting.
Teach me to rest without guilt, receive love without resistance, and trust that the world will keep turning while I breathe. Remind me that I am still here, still held, and still healing by Your grace.
Amen.
A SCRIPTURE TO REST IN
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
MATTHEW 11:28
CONTINUE IN WORSHIP
There is no correct pace. Stay with a song, close your eyes, or simply let the music fill the room while you breathe.
CARRY THIS WITH YOU
I am still healing—and I do not have to hurry because grace is carrying me.
