Breathe
Unclench your hands. Lower your shoulders. Take one slow breath without trying to fix anything.
SELAHE← Back to the SanctuarySANCTUARY PATH 02
When the numbers do not add up and tomorrow feels uncertain, your body carries the fear before your words can explain it. Pause here. You are more than this pressure.
Lay down the weightProvision begins with presence.
BEFORE YOU PRAY
Financial pressure can make every thought feel urgent. It can steal sleep, tighten the chest, and make shame speak louder than truth. But needing help is not a spiritual failure. Today, you do not have to solve everything at once. Begin by becoming still enough to remember that you are not facing it alone.
A GENTLE RESET
Unclench your hands. Lower your shoulders. Take one slow breath without trying to fix anything.
This is difficult, but it is not the whole story. Pressure is present; God is present too.
You do not need the entire answer today. Ask for wisdom for the next faithful action.
God, You see every figure, every deadline, and every need I have been carrying in silence.
I confess that fear has been speaking loudly. I have imagined the worst, blamed myself, and tried to hold tomorrow in hands that were only made to hold today.
Meet me in this pressure. Give me peace that is not dependent on my bank balance, wisdom for each decision, courage to ask for help, and favour in places I cannot control.
Provide what I need, protect what You have entrusted to me, and keep anxiety from becoming the ruler of my heart. Until the answer comes, remind me that I am still Your child—and I am still held.
Amen.
A SCRIPTURE TO HOLD
“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.”
PSALM 23:1
CONTINUE IN WORSHIP
Let each song carry a different part of the burden—from honest fear, through surrender, into quiet trust.
Begin by releasing the weight you were never meant to carry alone.
