YOUR PRIVACY
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 26 September 2026
This notice explains how Selahé’s Sanctuary uses personal information provided through the email signup form. Selahé’s Sanctuary is responsible for deciding how this information is used.
Information we collect
When you join the Sanctuary, we collect the information you enter in the form, such as your first name and email address. We also keep a record of your subscription and consent. EmailOctopus may process technical, delivery and engagement information needed to operate the form and deliver emails, such as an IP address, delivery status, email opens or link clicks.
How we use your information
We use your information to send the worship, prayers, encouragement, music news and other Sanctuary updates you asked to receive; manage your subscription; keep the mailing list secure; and understand whether our emails are reaching and helping subscribers.
Our lawful basis
We rely on your consent to send Sanctuary emails. You may withdraw that consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email. We may rely on our legitimate interests for essential mailing-list administration, security and fraud prevention, where those interests do not override your rights.
Who processes your information
We use EmailOctopus to collect subscriptions, store the mailing list and deliver emails. EmailOctopus and its service providers process information on our behalf. We do not sell your personal information. Information may also be disclosed where required by law.

Advertising cookies on our landing page
On /quiet-place, we use the Meta Pixel only after you choose Accept in the cookie notice. It records a page visit to help measure our advertising. Meta may receive the page URL, referring page, IP address, browser and device information, and cookie or advertising identifiers, and may associate this with your Facebook or Instagram account. Meta may process information outside the UK under its privacy policy.
This installation sends a PageView event only. It does not send journal entries, journey selections, email addresses or signup events. We do not install this pixel in the Selahe journal app.
You can decline without losing access to the journey. Your choice is stored on this browser for up to 180 days. Meta advertising cookies such as _fbp and _fbc may last up to 90 days. Use Cookie settings at the bottom of the landing page to change your choice. Declining stops future tracking from this installation and removes its accessible Meta cookies; it does not undo data already sent to Meta.
How long we keep it
We keep your subscriber information while you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we may retain a limited suppression record so that we can respect your choice and avoid contacting you again. EmailOctopus may keep limited backups or records under its own retention policy.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to its use. You can withdraw marketing consent at any time. To make a privacy request, email hello@selaheworship.com. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
